In the Forrest
Pucharová Kramářová, Vendula ; Dub, Petr (referee) ; Lahoda, Tomáš (advisor)
My work began with taking photos in the forest at night; this work was very important to me because of the mysterious feeling. My paintings are stylized more than realistic. I'm captivated by untidy nature, with fallen trees and decaying stumps. Oil is my medium- some places are detailed while others are expressive.
The Night
Dušek, Filip ; Moravanský, Tomáš (referee) ; Javůrek, Tomáš (advisor)
The NIGHT bachelor thesis deals with the perception of the world by adolescents. It shows a specific period of the author's life and the events he experienced corresponding to the real realities. The form of featured documentary was chosen for this purpose. In the beginning, it was important to try to understand and name your thought processes at the time. In the final stage we then get to remain in mere observation without uttering a verdict. The document is in short format. The main role is played by a close person (brother), who is also in a similar period of life. The narration and location of the film are also true to the real places where the events originally took place. The film will feature mostly one person in the visual component - as the author's younger self. The whole film is accompanied by the voice of an indeterminate split entity (the inner voice of the actor / conscience / god / experience / ...), which in the form of a monologue will reveal what was going on. These voices will be materialized in a 3D object that is non-violently implemented in scenes. Through intimacy revealing the author's privacy to the viewer, there is a reconciliation with the past. Self-ironing reflections, relieving pseudo-problems of adolescence, which can have a perverse effect, can nevertheless bring fundamental knowledge and new value.
Design of Network Management Center for on-line Games
Káčer, Andrej ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the management and functionality of the Network Operations Center, whose function is to maintain optimal network operations on various platforms, media and communication channels. The department is in a company that develops AAA game titles. The first part defines the theoretical basis. The next section introduces the company together with the analysis of the functioning of the department and communication. The last part is devoted to the design of the organizational structure, which includes the process of creating a new job. The process involves the division of activities, the recruitment process and the economic appreciation itself.
Visual Geolocation of a Stationary Camera
Application for early detection of transmission parameters degradation of microwave units
Bubniak, Milan ; Benedikt, Jan (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Radio equipment of microwave links operating in an outdoor environment under the influence of weather conditions is at risk of a link failure or device defect occurrence, as well as their indoor units. This bachelor thesis aims to present the creation of a~network monitoring application capable of timely detection of potential failures, based on analyzing trends in monitored device parameters. The theory section deals with basic characteristics of microwave links and the structure of Simple Network Management Protocol. The practical section describes an application design, including core architecture, as well as a graphical user interface. Several failure detection methods are designed and described. In the next section, practice monitoring results are presended. Furthermore, network traffic and data storage requirements are measured. The conclusion summarizes the results of the application development and outlines it's future with new possible features.

Application For An Early Detection Of Transmission Parameters Degradation Of Point-To-Point Microwave Links
Bubniak, Milan
Radio equipment of microwave links operating in an outdoor environment under the influence of weather conditions is at risk of a link failure or device defect occurrence, as well as their indoor units. This paper aims to present the creation of a network monitoring application capable of timely detection of potential failures, based on analyzing trends in monitored device parameters. The architecture is being described, as well as a graphical user interface. Several failure detection methods are covered. Conslusion summarizes the development results and outlines a future of the application.
On The Efficiency Of Precise Fault Localization And Identification In No
Valachovič, Marek
The paper joins the Bonfire NoC model, desrcibed in VHDL, together with a method of the precise localization and identification of faults in NoC and sums up a few findings about the efficiency of fault-tolerant NoC employing the method. A special focus is given to the area overhead and the mean time between failures in the presence of no or one permanent fault and some transient faults.
